Create template for Salesforce Objects

Use the following steps to create a new template from a Salesforce object in Viewer.

Step 1: Navigate the Viewer Administrator​

To find Viewer Administrator, open App Launcher and search for:

  • Viewer Administrator

Then open the app and continue to Quick Start.

Step 2: Select Primary Object and Save​

In Quick Start:

  1. Locate the option to select a Primary Object for your template.
  2. Choose the Salesforce object you want to use.
  3. Click Save.

Step 3: Navigate the New Template​

After saving the primary object, you will see a button to Navigate the new template.

Click this button to open a preview of your newly created template.

Step 4: Rename and start Customizing the Template 🙃​

Once the new template opens:

  1. Rename the default/generic template name to a meaningful name.
  2. Start customizing the template content based on your business needs.

Renaming early helps you and your team identify the template more easily later.
