What this template does​

Generates a simple PDF for a Lead record. It is best used as a starting point for handouts or quick lead summaries.

Adapting this template

Start with just the few fields you need (name, company, industry). Update the template fields in Viewer — no code required.

Data items​

  • Lead — primary record (name, company, industry, rating)

When adapting the template, choose the Lead fields you want to show on the PDF and update the template accordingly.

Practical example (how to use)​

  1. Import the template bundle into Viewer.
  2. Activate the Simple Lead setup and associate it with the Lead object.
  3. Generate a PDF from a Lead record and verify the displayed fields.

Example: generate a PDF for Lead 00Q... and verify the name and industry appear as expected.

Best practices​
